The new Rotavapors R-210 and R-215 fully comply with Buchi's long-held reputation for designing robust and easy to use instruments. In keeping with its predecessor, the new modular systems offer a range of glass assemblies, vacuum controllers and and also the choice of vapour temperature and rotation display. Many variations are offered to satisfy customer's needs, as are several thoughtful innovations.

As an example, the bath obtains its mains power in a similar way to a cordless kettle. This feature also allows easy removal and cleaning of the bath. An infrared sensor transmits the bath temperature to the Rotavapor.

The vapour duct establishes an end-to-end connection between the evaporation flask and the condenser, thus preventing possible cross-contamination. The acclaimed Combi-clip greatly facilitates removing and changing the flask and vapour duct assembly

• Compact assembly with small footprint on your lab-table
• Easy handling with the electrical quick-action jack activated by simply pressing a button
• Sealing system: A continuous vapour duct prevents cross-contamination and is particularly easy to dismantle and clean. The vacuum seal comprises a PTFE composite material and provides long service life and effective sealing. The proven combi-clip elegantly solves the problem of simple flask removal and the dismantling of the vapour duct
• The heating bath, for water or oil, covers a wide temperature range from 20-180°C. A large, clear graphic display continuously shows the actual temperature and the temperature setpoint. Its small volume ensures that warm-up times are very quick. Thanks to the wireless power supply, it is not necessary to make or break connections when handling the bath. The high alloy steel pan is easy to clean. An optional protective shield can easily be fitted to the edge of the bath.
• Vacuum controler V-850 / 855: for display, adjustùment and control of the vacuum: automatic distillation is possible with the V-855 !
• If required, all glass parts (except the evaporating flask) can be supplied with a special plastic coating. The P+G coating  PLASTIC+GLASS*  protects against mechanical damage and provides efficient protection against glass splinters in the unlikely event of a breakage. (in option )

* PLASTIC+GLASS ( P+G) is a unique protective layer for glass components. It offers improved mechanical damage resistance and increases protection against broken glass. It also makes sure that the solvent in the receiving flask is not spilling, if the glass is damaged.

Glass assemblies for evaporation with reflux
With the configurations S and CR, the condensate can flow back into the evaporating flask. Chemical reactions in the Rotavapor and Soxhlet extractions can be carried out.

  The heating bath, for water or oil covers a wide temperature range of +20 to +180 °C.
  A large, clear graphic display continuously displays the actual temperature and the temperature setpoint. The bath’s small volume ( capacity 4 liters ) allows it to heat up quickly. Thanks to the cordless power supply it is not necessary to unplug connections when filling or emptying the bath. The high alloy stainless steel pan is easy to clean.. Option: transparent safety guard to protect against splashing-ref 48052.

• Heating bath B-495, ref 48240
  A bath for larger flasks of up to 5 litres is available as a special version. Temperature range of +20 to +95 °C. In addition an integrated water feed keeps the level in the bath constant . A large, clear graphic display continuously displays the actual temperature and the temperature setpoint. Thanks to the cordless power supply it is not necessary to unplug connections when filling or emptying the bath. The high alloy stainless steel pan is easy to clean.. Option: transparent safety guard to protect against splashing-ref 48245.
